Moving to a different state.
Some items that come to mind are state and local taxes, retiree health insurance, estate legal documents, sales taxes, estate/inheritance tax, etc....

Ed JastremList of suggested actions for becoming a resident of a new state:
File a Declaration of Domicile
Obtain new state driver's license
Register your automobile(s) in new state
Register to vote and vote in new state
Notify tax and voting officials of your previous residence that you have become a resident of the new state
Use your new states address in filing your Federal income tax return with the IRS
Notify the Social Security Administration of your change of address.
Use the new state address for your passport
Use the new state address for your charge accounts
Register the new state address with insurance and Medicare
Direct that all income, pension, dividend and interest checks and other payments be sent to your new state address
Use the new state residence/address whenever possible such as when registering at a hotel
Consult your attorney:
Declare the new state as your residence in Will, Codicil and/or Trust -
